Provides education and support programs and advocacy to eligible young people aged 11-19.

It is available to those young people who are at risk of disengaging or who have already disengaged from education, and/or family and the community.

The aim of this program is to work closely with schools and local community organisations to identify youth at risk and develop individualised programs to help them connect back into education.

Marist Youth Care case workers provide a thorough assessment and work with young people to develop a re-engagement plan that addresses their particular needs. This may include links to our Newstart Literacy program, our flexi-learning service, MyConnectEd or Pete’s Place School.

Personal support and mentoring help young people re-engage with learning and increases pathway opportunities back to school or into vocational training.
