MYC auspices the Youth Accommodation Interagency Nepean
YAIN is an interagency of youth services that work with young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the Blue Mountains Nepean, Hawkesbury, Blacktown and Baulkham Hills regions of Western Sydney. The YAIN Homelessness Resource Worker has been funded by NSW Family and Community Services since the early 1990’s.
YAIN holds a monthly meeting for youth workers, case workers and managers, informing them of the latest policy and sector information and providing networking opportunities.
YAIN also presents events throughout the year to build the capacity of the sector and to build partnerships, collaboration and better service integration across the region.
A weekly newsletter is emailed to members and other interested parties containing info on the latest training opportunities, programs, developments in the sector, news and events.
