Marist Youth Care awarded $100,000 for the Healthy Work Lunches and Practical Life Skills Project
Marist Youth Care has been successful in its bid for the Youth Opportunities program.
The award funding will support Marist Youth Care's Healthy Work Lunches and Practical Life Skills project.
The Youth Opportunities Program is funded through the Minister for Citizenship and Communities, The Honourable Victor Dominello. Marist Youth Care was awarded the grant due to its ongoing commitment to providing opportunities for young people at risk and their families and for the large number of services and programs offered to disadvantaged young people in Western Sydney.
Included in the programs at the Skills Development Centre will be life skills, such as preparation of healthy lunches when employed.
